Authority for Urban Planning

The General Authority for Urban Planning is the state agency responsible for formulating the general policy for planning and sustainable urban development, preparing plans and programs for this development at the national, regional and governorate levels, and reviewing and approving urban plans at the local level within the framework of national and regional goals and policies.
